The prices were too high, but I loved the open atmosphere and breeze along the ocean while we ate.

Had dinner there yesterday and the place was immaculate. Tables were spaced out perfectly, staff were all wearing masks and, the friendly hostesses were enforcing that guests also wear masks. Our great waiter Sean or Shawn was very learned on the menu and, recommended some amazing options for the table. The salmon was memorable! Great place! Great Service! Great atmosphere! Food GREAT!

Good food & right on the boardwalk with a million $$ view ! And it's BYOB so that is a big savings !!! This is your view !

Soup was so salty so it had to be few days old. Very basic salads way below average. I guess they know shore crowd will come once and never come back. Great service! One plus!

Unbelievable that such a great restaurant with fabulous food, service and great atmosphere is right on the boardwalk. Only complaint, too noisy but once you get used to the sounds, it's fine. BYBO and all personnel were attentive and great. Will go back as the food was so good. Portions large and food fresh.

Me and husband had our first dinner at Avon Pavilion and it was more than wonderful. We requested Kimberly and was granted her with her awesome and professional service. The food we had ..from the awesome salad to the ribs cornbread and unbelievable shrimp dish was incredible.My husband even commented on the coleslaw and it’s wonderful flavor and textures! We were blown away and wish we had dinner sooner in the season.....We have come for many breakfasts this summer and have been equally pleased.The whole staff is friendly and this is really something that needs to be duplicated elsewhere ....Barbara at the front door is always on point ! Thank you Lisa also for your professional and personal touch.....If you are near Avon go to the Avon Pavilion....food , people and the view are simply the best! Maria and Greg 🌷

The food was good but the service was amazing. I sincerely wish I could've given out waiter Mike 10 stars.The entire staff there was so friendly and in good spirits. They are maintaining COVID-19 guidelines very well. They literally made the entire experience pleasurable.

I had lunch there last week with the girlfriend and Rachel waited on us. She was friendly, professional and attentive. It was so beautiful there and her warm personality made the lunch experience fabulous. Food is great and staff is wonderful

Before I drove here they told me there’s no wait at all, I called up and I said please try to accommodate as it’s a far drive and I’m with a 9 month pregnant wife, a diabetic, 2 kids that didn’t eat, and it’s our anniversary. She said if you get here in an hour it’s no wait.We get here, my wife calls up A MINUTE before she walks in to put our name on the list, right before my wife walks in she says it’ a 40 minute wait! OK, so she walks in and I park my car I walk upto the restaurant and the hostess says OVER AN HOUR!Terrible service! I will never come back here! Food is also terrible! Go elsewhere please. They should have been upfront right before my 9 month pregnant wife walked out of the car to put our name on the list. 0 stars if I could!

The food is terrible and expensive. My family and I were at the beach today and we got hungry so we decided to order food from there since it was the closest place. The food was so bad that when we got home we were all feeling sick. I was very disappointed after spending $50 on the Chesapeake Crab Cake and Chicken Cheese Steak. Horrible experience at that place for being the first time. Never going there again. Like I said the food was horrible and expensive! However, they do have great customer service as one of their employees were really sweet and helpful to us.

The crab cake entree was so delicious! It was full of crabmeat and not alot of filler. It had a jicama side which was a nice refreshing contrast. My friends were just as satisfied with the dishes. It's fine dining right on the boardwalk. Love it.

The staff was great at giving you all of the details and answered any question we had quickly. Check-In was fast and easy, one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Will definitely be back.

My sister and I treated ourselves to this gem of a restaurant. Can't believe this was just our first time! We're locals.We absolutely loved all of our food ESP the Coconut shrimp!! Beautiful views of the ocean..And, our server Sean was so nice and hospitable. Thank you!Be back !

best breakfast at the shore, unreal view of the ocean. we live in Manasquan and nothing there compares to this place. Our server Andi was one of the most pleasant woman we have ever met, we wish her the best on her wedding. We intend to try the dinner menu in the near future. This place is not 5 stars it's 10.

Waited less than 10 minutes for seating. When we were sat at our table, Mackenzie took our order and when I debated white, wheat, or rye toast, she “said treat yo self”. So of course I went with the white. Overall great experience right by the beach and lastly, my girlfriend left her glasses on the table and Mackenzie chased us down to give those back. Thank you for a great experience at the beach!

My father and I have loved our experiences at the Avon Pavilion for a few years now. We go all the time during the summer, sometimes a lunch in the middle of a long beach day, sometimes a nice dinner by the ocean. The setting of the restaurant is beautiful and there is always an amazing breeze. All the food I have had there has been phenomenal. Specifically recommend their current mussel appetizer - it’s fantastic. Their version of clams casino is delicious. The filet mignon remy is rich and high quality. I get it every time. Just tried the sole francais - cooked and flavored to perfection over linguini. Presentation always on point and the servers are professional and very kind. It’s a great restaurant, highly recommend. No reason to not try it out for yourself.

Love the space, the atmosphere and the staff. Chef Kenny's cuisine is second to none. My husband and I visit this place several times during our yearly week long stay on the shore.

Just had an awesome lunch here! The seafood salad appetizer was excellent and the ahi tuna flatbread salad was exceptional! The weather was lousy, but anytime at the beach is enjoyable and relaxing.

Super spot, great breakfast lunch or dinner. BYOB and RIGHT on the beach! They also have a take out stand on the boardwalk side. Covered dining, reasonable pricing, and you get to Watch the surfers get on and off the waves!!

This was such a great experience. The staff was so friendly and kind, and the food tasted great!

Very popular place; they don't take reservations and we had to wait in line to get in. Not too impressive inside ( e.g., plastic chairs, cramped seating), but you can't beat the location. The restaurant is right on the boardwalk, so depending on where you sit, you can gaze at the ocean while eating. Food is quite good overall, but not everything is equally impressive. I would skip the clam chowder - it's way too salty. The crabcake however, is possibly the best I've had and well worth the price. The desserts were also really good, our party of four shared a few. Our server, Kevin, was superb and I'm sure he'll be running the place one day (or one just like it). I would definitely go there again the next time I'm visiting Avon-by-the-Sea.

Avon Pavilion is a little slice of heaven at the Jersey Shore. It has always been a favorite place for a special celebration dinner but this summer it has become a weekly event. The food, atmosphere and service are outstanding. I would like to give a special shout out to our wonderful server Kevin and to their amazing manager Alyssa.

Wow awesome breakfast. Ultimate omelet is the bomb. We brought some champagne for a birthday and they helped us out with the OJ and glasses. Service was great, waitress was happy to help our huge party! They sat 10 of us and were very accommodating. You do need the full party there to sit though so come prepared.Go here on a nice day when you're not on a hurry, no reservations accepted, but worth the wait!
